Welcome back to our blog! Today we're sharing our perfect itinerary for 24 hours in the beautiful city of angeles. 24 hours in Los Angeles. I've only been to L.A. once, but Nate's been a few times, since his family lives down there. I'm obsessed with all these ideas. One thing to note about L.A. though, you should definitely rent a car or have one available to you. The public transportation system in L.A. SUCKS.
Chinese Theater and Walk of Fame
Begin your day in Hollywood. The Walk of Fame is really something else, and the Chinese theater is absolutely gorgeous. There are many other things to do in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles, and tons of different sights, so take some time to explore this area before moving on!
This is definitely a place for celebrity sightings. Just while we were walking around exploring, two shops closed because someone famous was shopping in there. It was awesome! Unless you're a millionaire, you probably aren't going to be able to buy anything on Rodeo Drive, but there's tons of fun things to look at as well as really expensive cars lining the streets.
Santa Monica Pier
Santa Monica and the area surrounding is seriously gorgeous. Take some time to explore the streets around, including the 3rd street promenade, a place for some awesome shops that you might not have where you live. Also take some time to walk out on the pier and ride a ride or two, and take in the sights. Then, if you're lucky, you'll catch it on a warm day, where you can lay out on the sand and enjoy the ocean breeze.
Not far from Santa Monica is Venice Beach, featuring Muscle Beach, a really awesome skate park and tons of more hippie-LA-like-things, like dispensaries and vintage stores and vegan restaurants. I would one day love to live in one of the adorable little houses that litter Venice Beach, but I'm not sure I can afford the 2 million price tag right now.
This is the only thing on this list that I haven't personally done, but is a huge bucket list item for me. You can spend the afternoon hiking near Griffith Observatory, like hike to the Hollywood sign, or just take in the beautiful sights of downtown LA.
