Today I wanted to share the top things to do in Idaho. As some of you know, we are from Boise, Idaho, so we have quite the experience of things to do in Idaho.
Visit Redfish Lake & the Sawtooths
I'm always awed when I drive up to redfish lake and the Sawtooth mountains. It's absolutely STUNNING. Whether you just make a day trip up in the spring or fall, or you spend a weekend here camping in the summer, Redfish Lake and Stanely, Idaho are a can't miss.
There are tons of things to do in McCall, but the city is a can't miss. There's an ice rink, a giant lake that houses all sorts of fun, as well as a beautiful downtown scene. Many people own cabins in McCall and stay there during random weekends throughout the year.
Sun Valley, Idaho
Sun Valley has a gorgeous resort complete with a huge heated pool. It also houses a beautiful downtown scene full of shops and restaurants, as well as a huge ski resort that's really popular with people from all over the world. There are many celebrities who own homes in Sun Valley.
Bruneau Sand Dunes
As a kid, we used to spend our first camping trip every year at Bruneau. It's so much fun. I've never actually gotten to hike to the tallest dune, but I've spent tons of time on top of the smaller one. They also have a pretty cool observatory out there since it's away from all the light pollution.
This is my hometown. As a visitor, there are so many things to do in Boise. There's museums, parks, the downtown scene if you're over 21, Boise State University, etc. I could probably write an entire post on Boise, so just go check it out.
I'll probably need to write an entire post about each of these cities but for the mean time, check all these places out!
