Castles is one thing in Europe that you just don't get in the United States. Today I'm sharing with you the best European castles that you should definitely add to your bucket list!
This is hands down one of the most gorgeous castles in Europe. Walt Disney designed Cinderella's castle based off inspiration from this castle, so it is very recognizable. It's absolutely gorgeous. Located in southern Germany, on the border between Austria, it's open daily, and is definitely one for the bucket list.
This is another gorgeous, fairytale looking castle. It's located in central Slovakia. It's also open daily for tours, and is definitely extremely gorgeous. It costs 8 euros per adult, which is a really affordable price for a gorgeous tour of this castle.
Windsor Castle is a less traditional castle, and more of a residence located in Windsor, UK outside London. It's absolutely stunning on the inside and is open daily.
St. Michael's Mount
This is an absolutely gorgeous castle, sitting out on an island during high tide, and out a long sandy path during low tide. It's gorgeous. There's also a little town with shops and eateries that surround the castle, making this an all day adventure if you so choose.
Alcazar Castle sits in central Spain, just north of Madrid. It's another stunning fairytale-like castle that's essential for any castle viewers bucket list.
Nate visited Ireland this past summer and made a stop at Blarney Castle during his trip. Most people have heard of Blarney Castle, making it Ireland's most known castle. It's a can't-miss when you visit Ireland. You can visit the kissing stone, and the floral gardens outside. Nate's favorite part were the grounds surrounding the castles and the beautiful scenery.
